This stone home near the border of Lancaster County & Chester County in the town of Atglen Pennsylvania is an ideal place for you to get away from your daily routine and enjoy some simple pleasures in the country. Here you will find a peaceful, relaxing setting where a small stream flows beside an old Spring House and meanders past our half-century old rock flower garden. Take a walk through the garden on the winding paths and see the variety of contrasting colors in bloom. The tastefully assorted planting changes with the seasons, offering a delightful experience in spring, summer, and fall. Our Amish country landscape offers breathtaking views with horses grazing in the surrounding meadows.

Chester County is one of the three original counties of Pennsylvania created by William Penn in 1682. It is named for Cheshire, England. Lancaster County, was formed from Chester County in 1729. It was named after the city of Lancaster in Lancashire, England. The Olde Stone Guesthouse is located right near the intersection of these two historic and beautiful Pennsylvania counties. This is a popular tourist destination, due in part to the many plain sect residents, known as the Amish or Pennsylvania Dutch.
